Background
Comand AI was founded in Paris in 2023 by Loïc Mougeolle and Antoine Chassan. The company emerged from a thesis that legacy C2 software is too slow and too manual for modern high-tempo warfare, and set out to build a purpose-designed AI-native platform from scratch rather than layering AI onto existing systems.
Its core product is Prevail, an AI-assisted command-and-control platform that ingests orders, terrain data, enemy intelligence, and sensor feeds to support mission planning, operational overview, simulation, and decision support for military officers and command centers.

Comand AI closed an €8.5 million seed round in June 2025 led by Eurazeo, with participation from Frst, Expeditions, Kima Ventures, and Tiny VC.
