Terms of Service
Effective date: July 12, 2026
These Terms govern your use of battlepolicy.com (the "Service"), operated by Schuler Media LLC. By using the Service you agree to these Terms.
1. What BattlePolicy is
BattlePolicy is an independent defense-technology news publication. We synthesize and aggregate reporting on defense tech, startups, and military developments, with attribution to the outlets and primary sources we draw on. The Service is publisher-operated: there is no user-generated content or community forum. The site combines open news and newsletter access with paid research and reference products. Current plans are described on the pricing page.
2. Your account and the newsletter
You must be at least 18 to create an account or subscribe. You are responsible for any credentials and for activity under your account, and you agree to receive the service and newsletter emails you sign up for. Tell us at editor@battlepolicy.com if you suspect unauthorized access.
3. Payments
BattlePolicy offers paid memberships alongside open access. Individual Pro, Professional, Institutional, and Intelligence memberships are all available self-service on monthly and yearly plans. Current plan availability and prices are shown on the pricing page; prices are stated in US dollars.
Paid subscriptions automatically renew at the chosen monthly or yearly cadence until canceled. A Stripe receipt is provided after each successful charge. A subscriber's locked rate continues for as long as that subscription remains active. If a subscription ends and the customer later subscribes again, the then-current price applies.
You may cancel through the Ghost Portal or Stripe-hosted account controls. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period, and paid access continues until then. We provide no partial credits for unused time.
Our standard policy is no refunds. We always refund a duplicate or accidental charge. We may grant other exceptions at the operator's discretion or where applicable law requires one.
Prices are exclusive of taxes. Applicable sales tax, VAT, or similar charges are collected only where required.
Stripe uses smart retries after a failed payment. Paid access is suspended after the final failed payment and reactivated after payment succeeds.
Plan and cadence changes are self-service through the Ghost Portal and Stripe. Upgrades take effect immediately with proration. Before you confirm any other change, the account controls show its effective timing and billing effect.
