Background

Founded in 2017, before Russia's full-scale invasion, Kvertus shipped its first anti-drone gear the same year — a small crew of engineers building what one profile called 'Star Wars' gadgets for a country already fighting in the Donbas. Wikipedia lists Andrii Znaichenko as founder and co-owner, Yaroslav Filimonov as CEO and co-owner, and Serhii Skoryk as commercial director; Filimonov, earlier billed as director of technology, is the public face on nearly every product launch.

The 2022 invasion turned a niche shop into the recognized leader of Ukraine's EW sector, where 50-plus firms now compete. Its edge is iteration at the trench: staff say they visit the front almost weekly to test gear near Pokrovsk, Toretsk and Kostyantynivka, and several products — the AD Counter FPV 'one with horns,' the Kraken backpacks — began as direct soldier requests. The full line is codified to NATO standards and fielded across the Armed Forces, National Guard, police, SBU and Border Guard. Kvertus also trains operators, partnering with the Kruk center. Headquarters are in Kyiv.
