Norda Dynamics
NORDA Dynamics is a Lviv-based Ukrainian deep-tech startup whose Underdog terminal-guidance module and StableLink stabilization software let cheap FPV and relay drones finish strikes autonomously through jamming and lost communications.
Background
NORDA Dynamics grew out of a wartime volunteer network and was formally founded in 2024. Its founders had spent years supplying Ukrainian units with thermal sights, night vision and reconnaissance drones, then set up a small FPV workshop when supply queues stretched to months. Investigating why front-line strike efficiency sat around eight to ten percent, roughly one in ten to twelve drones reaching its target, they traced the losses to radio horizon, electronic warfare and inexperienced pilots, and built a terminal-guidance answer. Winning the Ukrainian Defence Ministry and Brave1 last-mile hackathon in early 2024 established the team and drew military, manufacturer and investor interest.
Its flagship Underdog is a companion computer that, once a pilot locks a target, guides the drone to impact by computer vision even after the operator link drops; StableLink is an optical stabilization box for relay and mine-laying drones that holds position without GPS. The company sells B2B, integrating modules into partner manufacturers' airframes rather than building complete drones, and reports growing to about forty people by late 2025 after delivering, by its own count, more than 50,000 systems. It is now working toward GNSS-denied navigation and AI-assisted target detection, though a human still approves engagement.
