Background
Raser Technology Co., Ltd. (雷昇科技股份有限公司) is not a defense startup but a long-established Taipei radar house. Its historic business is traffic law enforcement: Doppler radar/laser speed measurement, red-light-running detection, breathalyzers/alcohol analyzers, and traffic-accident warning systems sold to Taiwanese police and road authorities. Company registry and its own homepage date the firm to 1967 (an 'About' page confusingly cites 1978 — treat the year as approximate); it is registered in Taipei's Da'an District with a factory in Taoyuan, and its listed representative is 謝宗源 (Hsieh Tsung-yuan).
