F-Drones puts guidance on board as LITAVR+ passes 400 km/h

GPS-free navigation and autonomous terminal guidance move the intercept onto the aircraft as Russian jamming degrades external links.
F-Drones has unveiled the LITAVR+, an upgraded version of its LITAVR interceptor built to catch jet-powered Shahed and Geran drones. CEO Stanislav Khutor disclosed the aircraft in an interview with LB.ua published Aug. 10.
The LITAVR+ reaches 400 kilometers per hour and slightly above, against 350 kilometers per hour for the earlier model, according to F-Drones specifications. It keeps the same form factor but uses different motors and electronics. The motors, flight controllers and LARAG software are in-house work, the company told Militarnyi.
Khutor said the aircraft carries proprietary software and navigation that does not rely on GPS. Its terminal guidance system can finish an intercept without pilot intervention. Remote-control technology lets the pilot fly it from almost anywhere.
The LITAVR+ has cleared factory testing and entered combat trials, Khutor added, citing successful interceptions of jet-powered Shaheds and supporting video. Ukrainian military units can already order it.
