FP-1

A Ukrainian rocket-launched, propeller-driven one-way attack drone designed for high-volume strikes against static targets at extended range.

Overview

The FP-1 is a long-range one-way attack drone developed and manufactured by the Kyiv-based company Fire Point. It occupies the lower-cost, mass-produced end of the company's strike portfolio, below the heavier FP-5 Flamingo cruise missile and alongside the shorter-range FP-2. The aircraft uses a fixed-wing configuration, a piston engine and a rocket-assisted launch system, allowing it to operate without a conventional runway.

Fire Point advertises a maximum FP-1 range of up to 3,400 km, a payload of up to 60 kg and a maximum flight time of 20 hours in its specifications retrieved on 2 October 2026. The company advertised about 1,600 km at the May 2025 display and 2,700 km for an upgraded version at Eurosatory in June 2026, as reported by Ukrainska Pravda in May 2025 and June 2026. The company's up-to-3,400 km claim was public by July 2026, and a subsequent specification video paired that range with a 60 kg warhead, according to Militarnyi and Defender Media.

During an August 2025 factory visit, Fire Point executive Iryna Terekh described production of roughly 100 drones per day at approximately $55,000 each in the context of the FP-1 line, AP reported. Terekh quoted a newer FP-1 price range of $55,000–$75,000 in July 2026, The Guardian reported; the figures are company quotations rather than independently verified procurement prices. AP observed completed FP-1 drones awaiting shipment in August 2025, and Ukrainska Pravda observed assembly, testing and dispatch during a January 2026 visit, establishing continuing serial production without verifying an annual total.
