Overview
MOBIDIK is an unmanned surface vessel (USV) built by the Ukrainian company Avarid around a single hull that accepts six different mission payloads, designated MD-1 through MD-6. The platform was presented publicly at the Ukrainian-Nordic DIH Naval Forge 2026 conference in Kyiv in late June 2026, where Militarnyi first reported its specifications: up to 120 hours of autonomous operation, an operational range of up to 1,400 km, a top speed of 65 km/h and seaworthiness in waves up to 1.2 m. All figures are company-declared and not independently verified.
The design matters less for any single number than for its packaging. Euromaidan Press notes that MOBIDIK consolidates capabilities previously fielded piecemeal by Ukraine's intelligence services β interceptor-drone carriage, anti-aircraft missiles, drone-carrier strike β into one commercial product family, and that its stated range covers the entire Black Sea operating area from which Ukrainian naval drones have already pushed Russia's fleet. Avarid says development of all six variants is complete and the program is moving through codification toward serial production, per Defense Express.
