The autonomy startup has working software and a documented Pentagon award, but the public record does not establish that NODA received the full $100 million.

NODA AI announced Aug. 17 that the Department of War awarded it a $100 million contract to scale autonomous mission command and software-defined effects across the Joint Force. "This is the evolution of drone warfare," CEO Philong Duong said in the company's release.

The release did not identify the awarding office, procurement vehicle, performance period, delivery milestones or initially obligated amount, RuntimeWire found. Those omissions prevent the public from determining whether the figure represents funded work, a maximum ceiling or another procurement structure.
