Overview
The Leleka-100, whose Ukrainian name means "Stork," is a recoverable tactical uncrewed aircraft developed and manufactured by the Ukrainian company DeViRo. It carries electro-optical or thermal-imaging sensors for reconnaissance, target acquisition and artillery fire adjustment. Ukrainian military formations operate the aircraft from behind the line of contact, using its video feed to identify positions and correct fires in real time.
The type evolved from a system informally used during the war in Donbas into a widely fielded family with progressively longer endurance, greater range and improved resistance to electronic warfare. Current manufacturer figures for the M3 configuration claim up to five hours of endurance, an 80 km combat radius and operation without satellite navigation, although earlier aircraft had substantially shorter endurance and range. The same basic airframe also provided the foundation for the RAM II loitering munition.
